Richard Hétu is a Certified Public Accountant since 1984. He is a partner in charge of quality control and IT services.
Mr. Hétu joined Villeneuve & Associates in 1988 after seven years with Samson Belair/Deloite & Touche, where he was in charge of a study on setting the IT audit rules of the firm, which resulted in the preparation of a manual on the subject.
In the past seventeen years, Mr. Hétu has developed his expertise on the international and national level.
For the international market (Algeria, Cameroon, Mali, Democratic Republic of Congo, France and Poland) he used his knowledge for the elaboration of management and administration procedures, setting up of cost control systems, financial analysis and evaluation of work in progress. He also participated in the preparation of cost reports and staff supervision.
For several years, he represents European firms setting up in Canada and assists them with their needs in structuring, financing and acquisition. He also gives conferences In France on quality control, control systems and Canadian taxation.
In Canada, he offers his expertise in certification, IT audits and setting up of accounting systems for many firms.
Richard Hétu has applied, with his knowledge, in many sectors, mainly musical (production of shows) and banking, distribution services, and set up of foreign companies in Canada.
